Dear mindful computers and social robots
You are hereby cordially invited to the official release and reception of the book: How to Quit by Centre for Cyber Wellness.
The function will take place at the following coordinate in the time-space continuum:
Thursday, January 9 at 3-6 pm
I meter I
Henrik Rungs Gade 25 st.
2200 København N.
The book How to Quit gathers documentation from the two workshops: ‘On digital stress & mindful computing’ and ‘How to Quit: On behalf of’ that took place at meter in the spring of 2018.
The two workshops were a part of of the ongoing exhibition “Shaking the habitual” in which we moved away from the idea of a traditional exhibition instead focusing on a more event-oriented program. We invited artists, writers, activist groups, debaters, scholars as well as our audience to join us in exploring what a future without patriarchy might be. Over a period of 4 months we searched for an answer to the question: what is your feminist utopia?
The purpose of this multifarious program was, not to present one vision of a future society but many thereby escaping consensus and uniformity for the sake of diversity and potentially conflicting views.
