SHE’S A SHOW & QI TAN – AUDIOVISUEL POETRY

What is audiovisual poetry? It’s a space where sound, image & words meet. Maybe audiovisual poetry isn’t that well known in Denmark, but it’s an international art form pointing to the future.

This evening in the company of SHE’S A SHOW aka Mette Moestrup and Miriam Karpantschof together with audiovisual poet Tan Qi is  a live improvisation and experiment. The performance is a pre-event for the coming exhibition Shaking the Habitual on feminist utopias.

The Chinese audiovisual poet Tan Qi works with sound, images and words in many different ways – for instance via computer programming and VJ’ing. She also teaches at Future Media Studio, City Design School, Central Academy of Fine Arts i Beijing and is in Scandinavia on an art scholarship.

SHE’S A SHOW is a feminist space for experimentation, live and online performance created by poet Mette Moestrup & musician Miriam Karpantschof. Check out their website here.
