Danish society is slowly opening up again after the second wave of Covid-19 and with it meter’s autumn program is slowly coming in to place.

In August 2021 meter has been invited to take part in the panel talk: Networks – the Artist-Run Currency at Juxtapose Art Festival in Århus. Read more about it here.

In September 2021 the Cross-Nordic Poetry Festival – Opbrud – will take place. Opbrud is a festival that looks at poetry that deals with trauma and more specifically trauma in connection to the pandemic / illness / sorrow; the climate crisis; war / displacement / discrimination. The festival takes place at the two venues Cinemateket and LiteraturHaus and features an ambitious program with the participation of more than 20 poets, panel debates, presentations by scholars of literature and philosophy as well as a small art program. In November 2021 we have the honour of co-curating YOUNG DANISH PHOTOGRAPHY at Fotografisk Center in collaboration with artistic director Kristine Kern. Read more about it here.

Also in November 2021 the Cross-Nordic Poetry Festival – Opbrud – will be featured at Oslo Internasjonale Poesifestival in a small appendix. More info will follow.
