Hour Projects is a multi-disciplinary platform which includes curatorial practice, art production and the publishing house Hour Editions. It was founded in Copenhagen in 2012 by Kristina Bengtsson and Kevin Malcolm. In recent years they have initiated the Not not work series of publications, events and performances, dealing with the complexities of labour, work and production in the contemporary art practice.
For the exhibition I would prefer not to Hour Projects presents their work Artists’ Pillowcase.
Hour Projects have produced a new edition for the exhibition. Artists’ pillowcase is exactly what the title suggests, a pillowcase for artists to sleep on and/or a pillowcase made by artists. It is best used for naps but is also handy when an artist is sleeping on your sofa.
